Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before scheduling a consultation or commissioning painting services with PaintKraft. By using our website (paintkraft.in) or confirming a project quotation, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms detailed below.

1. Scope of Services

PaintKraft provides residential home painting, apartment painting, commercial painting, designer texture application, waterproofing, and express 1-day painting services across Bangalore, Karnataka. All projects are performed in accordance with the specific scope of work, paint brands, and finish specifications documented in your project quotation.

2. Site Inspection & Quotations

  • Free Site Visits: We provide complimentary on-site inspections and laser measurements for homes and flats in Bengaluru.
  • Quotation Validity: Formal quotations provided by PaintKraft remain valid for 15 days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise in writing.
  • Hidden Defects & Additional Scope: Quotations reflect visible wall conditions at the time of inspection. If concealed problems (such as deep structural cracks, hidden dampness, pipe seepage behind tiles, or peeling substrate) are discovered during surface sanding and preparation, our project supervisor will advise you and obtain your approval before carrying out any supplemental treatments.

3. Genuine Branded Materials

We use 100% genuine paints sourced directly through authorised channels from India's leading paint manufacturers, including Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Nippon Paint, Birla Opus, Dulux, and Nerolac. Original, sealed paint containers and certified primers are delivered directly to your project location.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth painting experience and on-time completion, clients agree to provide:

  • Work Area Access & Approvals: Clear access to the premises during standard working hours, as well as necessary society or Resident Welfare Association (RWA) gate passes and work permissions.
  • Utility Access: Continuous electrical power and clean water supply required for machine sanding, spray application equipment, and daily cleanup.
  • Valuables & Personal Items: While PaintKraft provides comprehensive floor masking, masking paper, and protective furniture sheeting, clients must securely remove or lock away jewelry, cash, laptops, and delicate fragile artifacts before work commences.

5. Payment Terms & Billing Milestones

Unless customized terms are specified in your written agreement, payments are scheduled in stages:

  • Booking Advance: A nominal advance deposit to lock your preferred start date and reserve painting teams.
  • Commencement Milestone: Payable upon material delivery, surface masking, and beginning of prep work.
  • Interim Milestone: Payable upon completion of surface preparation, base coats, and primer application.
  • Final Handover: The remaining balance is payable upon project completion, site cleanup, and joint quality inspection with our supervisor.

6. Project Timelines & Rescheduling

  • We strive to complete projects on or ahead of schedule (including our 24–48 hour express service). However, timeline extensions may occur due to external factors such as prolonged rain/humidity affecting paint drying times, society-imposed noise restrictions, or power outages.
  • Clients may reschedule project dates with at least 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled start date without penalty.

7. Warranty & Workmanship Guarantee

  • Manufacturer Warranties: Paint durability, colour retention, and anti-fungal properties are warranted directly by the respective paint manufacturers according to their product guidelines. PaintKraft assists you in registering warranty paperwork.
  • Workmanship Guarantee: PaintKraft warrants that all surface preparation, priming, and application are executed in adherence to professional industry standards and manufacturer technical specifications.
  • Warranty Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by active structural water seepage, external building leaks from upper floors or common plumbing shafts, mechanical abrasion, structural building movement, or force majeure events.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel prior to materials being tinted and dispatched, your booking deposit will be refunded minus nominal administrative and site inspection costs. Once custom-tinted paint has been prepared or on-site labor has commenced, costs incurred up to the cancellation date will be deducted from any refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, photographs, graphics, branding, and text on paintkraft.in are the intellectual property of PaintKraft. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, or commercial distribution is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

PaintKraft's aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to a project shall not exceed the total fees received from the customer for that specific project. PaintKraft shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
